毕业于中国科学院海洋研究所，1990年7月参加工作。2005年9月获中国科学院理学博士学位，专业是物理海洋学。1996年6月获得西安交通大学理学硕士学位，专业是应用数学。1990年7月获内蒙古大学理学学士学位，专业是基础数学。1990年7月至今，在内蒙古工业大学理学院数学系任教，并于2010年底被聘为图书馆副馆长。2007年9月至2008年8月，在中国海洋大学做了一年的“西部之光”访问学者。
现为图书馆副馆长，教授，硕士生导师，内蒙古数学学会第九届理事。2008年、2010年入选内蒙古自治区“新世纪321人才工程”第二层次人选。
积极承担本专科生、研究生教学任务，主讲过高等数学、线性代数、概率论、数学分析、数学物理方程、数值分析、偏微分方程数值解、专业外语等课程。参与编写《高等数学》教材1部。“信息与计算科学”校级品牌专业建设负责人。2008年9月获学校“三育人”先进个人，2009年3月获就业工作先进个人。
教学之余，积极进行教学与科学研究。研究兴趣包括非线性偏微分方程理论与数值计算，非线性水波动力学等。主持并完成校级教学研究项目1项，发表教学论文7篇；主持并完成内蒙古工业大学校级科研项目2项、内蒙古自然科学基金项目1项、中国科学院海洋环流与波动重点实验室开放研究基金项目1项；目前正主持内蒙古自治区高等学校科学研究项目1项，内蒙古自治区第十批人才开发基金1项，在国内外学术期刊发表科研论文20余篇，其中11篇被SCI收录，1篇被ISTP收录。
